Hi there! I’m working with the Credit Control and Execution folks in the Credit and Data Analytics team at Barclays US Consumer Bank. Before this, I was lucky to serve as an associate in our Data Strategy team, moving data to the AWS cloud.
My regular work involves optimizing the credit data decision and analysis processes; and ensuring the smooth run of our credit strategies. I’m also supporting the Existing Customer Management and Credit teams with their cloud move. I work with Python, AWS, BASH, SQL, SAS, and Excel! I earned a Master’s in Statistics from the University of Delaware, which was a great experience to learn about the foundations of data analysis and Machine Learning. Before that, I spent three years at the Central Bank of Bangladesh, where I was part of the Payment Systems team to support mobile money and payment card policies. We saw some good growth in the mobile money space—transactions up 51%, customers 39%, and agents 21% from January 2020 to August 2022—which was pretty rewarding. I’ve also worked as a consultant and software developer along the way.
With a Computer Science degree, an MBA, and about seven years of experience, I enjoy investigating credit business and data problems, and picking up new skills to help out where I can.
When I’m not working, I like playing Duplicate Bridge—it’s a fun, tricky card game that keeps me thinking!

  • About me

As a data enthusiast with a passion for turning raw data into valuable insights and solutions, I am delighted to finish a Master's degree in Statistics at the University of Delaware.
Also, I loved my cloud computing and data analytics job at Barclays.

Before starting my graduate studies, I worked at the Payment Systems Department of the central bank of Bangladesh for three years. In this role, I used data analysis and machine learning methods to help make policy decisions about mobile financial services and the payment card industry in Bangladesh. I also have professional experience in data-driven business consulting and software development.

I am passionate about turning data into business value, and my dedication is reflected in my credentials, which include a CS degree, an MBA, and over five years of work experience.

I am also passionate about Duplicate Bridge, the most statistical and challenging strategy card game.

I also like Ping Pong, and writing short stories.
